There are four manuals for MLAB that you can download.

The first is the MLAB Reference Manual which contains careful definitions of all the statements and functions of MLAB. The second is the MLAB Applications Manual which contains many examples of MLAB in use. The third is the MLAB Graphics Examples Manual which contains many examples of the use of MLAB to draw interesting graphs.

The first manual, the MLAB Reference Manual, can be downloaded in PDF format via your web-browser, using the http protocol, by clicking refman.pdf

When you click the refman.pdf link, your browser will download the file refman.pdf and place it in some temporary location and invoke your pdf viewer program which will display the first page of refman.pdf. Your pdf viewer program may be the Acrobat Reader program, or it may be some other similar pdf viewer program. You should use the print button of your pdf viewer program to print the book on your printer. (This print button usually looks like a little printer with a sheet of paper coming out the top.) It is 320 pages in size. You can also save the file being viewed, refman.pdf, on the disk by clicking the save button. (This usually looks like a little floppy disk.) Alternatively, you can save the file refman.pdf directly to disk by right clicking the refman.pdf link above and choosing "Save target as" or "Save link as". Then you can deal with the file in any way you choose.

When you click the gexamplesman.pdf link, your browser will download the file gexamplesman.pdf and place it in some temporary location and invoke your pdf viewer program which will display the first page of gexamplesman.pdf. Your pdf viewer program may be the Acrobat Reader program, or it may be some other similar pdf viewer program. You should use the print button of your pdf viewer program to print the book on your printer. (This print button usually looks like a little printer with a sheet of paper coming out the top.) It is 172 pages in size. You can also save the file being viewed, gexamplesman.pdf, on the disk by clicking the save button. (This usually looks like a little floppy disk.) Alternatively, you can save the file gexamplesman.pdf directly to disk by right clicking the gexamplesman.pdf link above and choosing "Save target as" or "Save link as". Then you can deal with the file in any way you choose.

The fourth manual, the MLAB Beginner's Guide, can be downloaded in PDF format via your web-browser, using the http protocol, by clicking bguideman.pdf

When you click the bguideman.pdf link, your browser will download the file bguideman.pdf and place it in some temporary location and invoke your pdf viewer program which will display the first page of bguideman.pdf. Your pdf viewer program may be the Acrobat Reader program, or it may be some other similar pdf viewer program. You should use the print button of your pdf viewer program to print the book on your printer. (This print button usually looks like a little printer with a sheet of paper coming out the top.) It is 172 pages in size. You can also save the file being viewed, bguideman.pdf, on the disk by clicking the save button. (This usually looks like a little floppy disk.) Alternatively, you can save the file bguideman.pdf directly to disk by right clicking the bguideman.pdf link above and choosing "Save target as" or "Save link as". Then you can deal with the file in any way you choose.

If you do not have a pdf viewer program such as Acrobat Reader, you can obtain the Acrobat Reader program from http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ . If this link does not work, it is probably because Adobe updated their website and broke it. So use this link instead: www.adobe.com and navigate to the appropriate download page.
